I think the Rover ones are quite expensive but you could get one online locally or OS. I've got a Bosch dizzy on one of my Rover V8's and the vac advance was $22 IIRC, so not sure why the original one is so expensive.

Hi all, just converted my Sons 88 Range Rover back from a Microtech ecu to an original Rover ecu as per factory (couldn't find anyone to set the Microtech up properly).
I need to get a new vacuum advance for the dizzy. Anybody know where I can get one for a reasonable price in Perth?
Cheers,
Dan

If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
A business up in Queensland sells a half-way decent line for all models of Rover engines. Sorry, can't think of their name / contact details.
They do mail-order. Price is quite reasonable (or else I would'nt have bought one from them !

PS,its probably an electronic dizzy,as I was once trying to source a dizzy for a Stage 1 Series I was trying to get going.
Anyhow it was a cheap conversion and bolts in.

Not sure about cheap, but the mallory unilite dizzy can be fitted, but there is some trickery involved depending on the oil pump drive shaft type.
early ones apparently need no modification other than changing the gear, later non-serpentine engines need to machine / saw off the male drive prong, refit the drive gear and redrill the dizzy shaft for a new rollpin.
the morgan / tvr guys know all about it, you can google it easy enough.
