Left field question;
Range Rover Classic's on air suspension, how do they go off road?
With the understanding that they are nowhere near as fantastic as the terrain response in the new girls and considering how basic the set up is, do they do alright or do they limit flex and have to use the traction control or other devises to get anywhere.
Would be interesting to know...
Thanks in advance.

From my own very limited experience....in TWO wheel (rear) drive - long story /don't ask... - my 95 Classic was able to traverse a rocky rough track with ease and COMFORT,,,, which made a couple of 'Hi-Lux' style trucks bounce and roar and carry on like pork chops at a Bar Mitzvah.
Being born last century... I took it at a sedate pace, so the Traction Control (rear wheels only) was not needed. - They were more....."enthusiastic".
Would have been quicker and easier still.... in 'AWD'.
Tyres were 'Westlake' HIGHWAY pattern. Yes, cheap rubbish rubber.. compared to the roll-luxe'sBigg chunky monster wheels.
I think that says it all...
The Lady Sarah, 1995 Classic Vogue SE, with working Air Suspension.... but let's not mention the BW Transfer case...
