    Another update.

Assembly continuing. It's been raining in the afternoons up here so the remaining panels are still in primer.

I've got my wheels off for new tyres and to paint the rims. I'm thinking of 255/65/16 General Grabber GTs to replace the 205s. I'll won't be taking it off road much when it's finished so a road oriented tyre that still looks cool is what I'm after.

The interior is all cleaned up and mostly back in. But now the drivers seat has stopped working again. I'll have to pull the seat ecu back out and check the battery and connections.

So I bought the bonnet and tailgate decals from ebay. They look ok but not quite right . They'll be ok until it finished but the last job on the body work will be fitting the genuine P38 silver decals that I've just bought at $127.50 each!!.

    Here's some picts.

    Painting finished at last :)

    G'day Guys,

The painting is finished!!!! Man that was a job and a half. You'd think that as all the panels are removable that it would make the job easier? NO it dosen't!! I had my back yard strewn with panels in differnt stages of primer and paint for what seemed like months.

But she's come up nice and I really like the Avalon colour So much classier that the Plymouth Blue.

As Shane was saying about the pain in the arse a metalic colour can be when painting. When I needed another liter for the internals of the doors so I asked the guy at the paint shop how much metalic was in it? The guy said none! "But jeez a hell of a lot of pearl" So it's not metalic, it's pearl!

I still have a few electrical issues to chase and she's running rich but here she is

That looks so classy. Great job! There is nothing like a Classic RR which has received enthusiastic refurbishing. Yours looks timeless with its upmarket good looks and is highly desirable.

The light colour of the interior makes it look bright and roomy. Mine is Plymouth Blue which is ok - not my favourite colour but it'll do.....just.....but I wish my interior was like yours instead of boring dark and gloomy grey.

That is one great looking classic. I am hoping to do mine justice one day. I think the previous owner had some hail damage done but the paint job, especially on the roof, is woeful. It's getting worse as time goes on. Although I had a guy come up in a carpark and offered me money for it. I love your work.
