Lol!!.."knocked the starter off the side of the block"??... I remember when Pete Geghegan had a similar problem with his Mustang, which caused him to "retire" from the race. He said He had retired with "electrical problems",.....didn't bother to mention that a thrown rod through the side of the block had caused the "electrical" problem!!
