    Tyre options for Rostyle Wheels

Hi guys, just bought my first RRC, a 1993 County SE - I think? not LWB, and had EAS originally, so from what I've read that narrows it down to a County Sport I think, but no doubt will be corrected soon enough.

Plan is to do a light Resto and take it back to more original look compared to what it is now.

I got a set of the three spoke alloys off Gumtree which are pretty straight forward, but also got a set of Rostyles through an AULRO member - and the rims say 'tubed' what tyre options are there for these old steel rims?

(tried to put a photo up but says it exceeds my limit?)

    Thanks

    County Sport in Australia?

    G'day Sam,

A County Sport in Australia? I'm pretty sure that was the American name for the RRC. As far as I'm aware Australia got the Vogue, Vogue Plus and Vogue SE. Variants below:

    Range Rover Vogue:
    - Air Conditioning
    - Front spoiler with driving lamps
    - Door open and pavement lamps
    - Interior coutesy delay lamps
    - Front map reading lamps
    - Anti-theft stereo radio/cassette/CD player w/ 10 disc remote changer and 4 speakers
    - Velour cloth upholstery w/ 8-way adjustable front seats.
    - Front arm rests
    - Walnut door panels
    - Raised loadspace cover
    - Electrically adjustable windows
    - Cruise control
    - Remote control central locking
    - Anti-theft alarm
    - Electrically adjustable and heated mirrors
    - Optional: Automatic transmission

Range Rover Vogue Plus, has in addition:
    - Electronic Air Suspension
    - Anti-lock braking
    - Optional: Automatic transmission

Range Rover Vogue SE, has in addition:
    - Automatic transmission
    - Electronic Traction Control
    - Electrically adjustable front seats w/2 position memory, incl. mirrors
    - Connolly leather upholstery
    - Electrically glass sunroof
    - Burled walnut door, fascia and console panels

As far as the tyre sizes go I've just had fitted 255/65/16 to my 95 5 spoke RRC alloys and they look SO much better than the 205 chesse cutters. But I think if your steelies are stock the tyre size should be 205/80/16.

Don't know why you would want steel wheels on your 93? IMO a nice set of cleaned up and colour coded tri spoke Vogue alloys are just lovely and much classier than my five spoke wheels.

Unless you want a set of wheels for the road and the steelies for off road. In that case there is lots of info on tyre sizes and body clearance here.
