I've never found clogging a problem for slots and dimples.
Cross-drilled rotors are prone to cracking - I have seen this, dont go there.
My opinion. If you go to slotting etc, you need a higher performance (high friction) pad to retain not hot performance as you lose contact area between the rotor and the pads. The slots predominantly work when the pads are right at the hot end of their working range.
I've tried a few rotors, the one I really like is the DBA T2 slotted rotor.
Since the demise of the EBC 2000 series pads, I haven't found a pad that I've been excited by. I am however trying to get my hands on some EBC yellow pads to suit which I hope may be really good.
