There should be two adjustment points. One is a hex nut (from memory) that sticks out of the backing plate, facing the front of the car. The other is a spinner on the outer cable accessible from inside the cabin, under the console bin. Adjust the nut on the backing plate first with the cable slackened so that the drum spins freely, then take up the cable slack inside the cab. Dropping the drum off is 1/2 hours work, just undo the tail shaft and swing it aside, undo the screws and remove the drum for inspection of the shoes.![]()
