Leather gets my vote - easier to clean.
Gday All,
Wondering what people's thoughts are on the leather seats in the Rangie compared to the I guess standard seats . I don't pick mine up till the weekend maybe even early next week but I see some models have the leather and some don't .
Seats are prolly a personal thing but just wondered as to those who are far wiser than me thought.
Cheers Ean

I prefer leather, but it is a personal thing... In fact I am trying to find a wreck for my ‘90 so that I can put leather seats in it..

Yep, definitely leather. Much more comfy.![]()
Leather - more comfortable and harder wearing. Just need to treat it regularly to stop it cracking.
much rather have good sheep skin than leather, hotter, stickier and a more work imho
but it's a personal taste thing imho

I think that climate also has to be considered... Leather just feels nicer on the old tush in the colder climates IMHO.![]()

IMO ... leather always looks nicer.... but velour is ALWAYS nicer to sit on .... cooler and not sticky in summer.... not freezing bloody cold and hard in winter .... not slippery like leather can be ................. But gees leather looks the part!

I skinned a high end leather lounge suite just for the leather to re-do the interior of my POS down the track. Similar colour to the original. Probably enough hide to do the headlining too if I wanted.
Have an industrial sewing machine and have done the front seats in vinyl in the past.
I did notice the difference in the thickness in the leather with respect to where it was used in the lounge suite, which was logical but interesting. I.e. thicker was used on the obvious wear areas and thinnest was on the back.
Can't beat leather.
