    Anyone had an early 90's Classic for sale

    Hi All

    Just a footnote to Shane's post re Insurance for my 92 Classic.

    I bought her about 18 months .... maybe 2 years ago and have it insured with Shannons.

    I could only insure it for purchase price around $1,800.00c but with Shane's unfortunate accident I made an inquiry over the phone with them after his post.

    I explained I've been tidying her up ... replaced missing bumper and bumper ends, replaced wheels, dark tinted windows etc etc and Shannons were happy to
    increase insurance value to $4,000.00c sight unseen without increasing my premium.

    Very happy with that ..... and again shows the value the discussions in this forum can be.

    Well done! I'm going to try for 8->$10k .... I forward photos of its rebuild. I don't give two hoots about its value. Its just to stop them writing the damn thing off to easily if anything happens to it again ................... Its worth a try!

    Shane,
    shannons are brilliant. You’ve driven my 300 Tdi converted Vogue LSE. After all the effort and money put into that conversion, they where happy with an agreed value of $15k. Last year a tree branch fell on the roof and scratched the side panel and bonnet . The repair quote was $9800 and they honoured it without question. I’ve got 6 cars with them including a track car I’ve insured with them for 25 years. Couple of claims here & there ( only minor until last year ) ,never a problem

    With shannons they insure your vehocle for the price payed for 1st year than you can contact them & insure for agreed value . I just did that with my s1 & 1984 BMW. no problems & did it over the phone took about 5 minuts.

    Hmmm may be i should insure my isuzu powered and heavily modded LSE soft dash with them, and park it under a really big tree, in a storm. Anyone had an early 90's Classic for sale
