    Air Con belt part #. 3.9 V8

    Gday All,

I am assuming that the air con is a standard fitment - the compressor does have a L/R badge on it. Can anyone tell me the belt number please.

I can measure it but thought i would try this first.

    Thanks and Cheers Ean

Not sure of the "correct" size but I usually fit a 13A0990 to both the water pump and the air cond, saves on spares count. The tensioners have lots of movement.

Genuine number is 611612, equivalent to a 13a990
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Ok , I might need to have a closer look as I don't see any belt tensioners on the air con compressor side.

If its a standard belt layout the tensioner is underneath the compressor.

The belt wasn't there when I purchased the car , so without standing looking at it I am not 100% sure there is no tensioner there. I removed the tensioner that sits just off to the side of the crank pulley which seems to have a failing bearing ,but if my mind is correctly looking at it ,there is 4 belts when everything is connected.

The two tensioners are identical, both clamp onto a round piece of casting, so the a/c one being missing should be no surprise. And 4 belts is the correct number.

That makes sense as I wondered what the piece of casting was under the compressor. Will start looking at finding a replacement.
