The big hose in the first pic is the brake booster. Hose plumbed into manifold is the vacuum gauge. The other hose is to the charcoal canister. Pic of the front is pretty self explanatory.![]()
You don't have a pic of how you routed your lines and valve do you??

Thanks for the pics, it was the PCV and flame trap i needed to sort out. were they 3/8 fittings each end??
I'm pretty sure the dissy is just vacuum advance, i can't see any electronic holley control, i can't find where the vacuum advance hose is running to, it wasn't the carby or base plate, if the weather is good, i'll try and have another look tomorrow.
It seems we have the same manifold, i was wondering if it would be worth while swapping mine for a dual plane, but as you have the same as mine how do you find it?
Thank you for your help.
Cheers

I'll have to check the fittings - maybe 5/16. I recall now I had to remove the plug from the port on the front of the sniper and fit a barb adapter.
I'm probably not the right guy to know the difference between single and dual planes - I have no idea of the pros/cons of each!!!
I've had no real issues with the current setup.
Do you have a separate little holley sniper branded box (about the size of those long/thin match boxes you get from hotels) attached/in the engine bay? It's critical if you want to control the ignition timing (about 120 bucks new - and comes with all sniper kits).

I haven't seen the ignition control box, do you think it is worth while? And what would i need to do to my current distributor?
Single plane manifolds are designed to maximise HP t higher revs, Dual plane designed to maximise torque at lower revs...
Even though mine is running bad, it feels responsive![]()

Depends on your current dizzy - if it's electronic, the mod appears to be simple.
If not, you'll need either a new dizzy, or another ignition box like an MSD or the likes.
Personally, I think it's better to control the timing too, but not if it's going to cost an arm & a leg. I was fortunate that the dizzy in mine was easy to integrate/control. Have a look at some of my previous posts - I needed some help from the forum IDing if the dizzy was electronic!!!!
