The problem I have there is Il need to send them the swivels. Then wait for them to come back. That bit isn't free. And that will be in the three week category which I don't currently have with the job hunting scenario that I am forced to undertake.
Not wanting to sound pompas but ideally having the car mobile come this Monday is a positive. I have an interview on the Wednesday with a possible start the next Monday.
Fitting the castor bushes, getting it back together and aligned by then with new tyres is achievable. And it'll drive right, but with the possibility of a vibration, which at a later date and funds can be corrected.
She only has a 2" (or 40mm tough dog(?)) Lift, but the steering side of it is terrible and not something I enjoy. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the 285/75r16 on -25 rims. There is room for improvement and winding it back to 3 degrees will help a lot.
Just for fact I have fitted a "return to centre" steering damper and have had it on since the lift, but it's the highway cruising where I have the issue. Most of the roads Il be utilising are 80 to 100km mark and aren't in the best of condition. From previous experience it has been hard in the past to not switch lanes at random.
Honestly I'm a little overwhelmed with just getting the damn thing running, then driving down the country and it's probably something I need to think about over few wheat brewed substances and make a plan.
