    Is this over-priced?

I don't know much about Range Rover prices. Is this excessive?

Check out this 1981 Land Rover Range Rover Manual 4WD.

In my view way too much - if it was 10 years (or abouts) earlier maybe - but 81 is about the end of the 2 doors in Aust - nothing special about that year.

Well you can’t say it needs work, it’s stunning. Any 2 door is worth a good quid these days, but earlier examples would have to be more desirable IMO. I suppose at the end of the day, it’s worth what someone will pay for it. The market will decide, but it only takes one person with deep pockets that falls in love with it.

There are **** box 2 doors going for about that now. This is without doubt one of the best restorations out there - certainly in Australia. Maybe not quite worth what is being asked but high 5 figures certainly.

    Pretty simple............. supply and demand.

It will sell for that price at some stage because both sides of the equation will be equal, or it will sell for a bit less a bit sooner.

It’s being aimed at those that have had Range Rovers all their lives and have the disposable income to relive owning what they used to have. As mentioned, it will fetch what someone is prepared to pay. If money were no object, I’d haggle him for a deal on it.
