I have never found anything either, but basically think you could kinda work it out to a ball park number.

EFI 23D "has" 110kw - 20-25% drive line loss then divide by the two axles. That's about 41kw or 55Hp at the wheels (each axle).

This could be WAY WAY off, but seat of the pants kinda feels about right.

On a 2wd dyno you have to lock the CDL and remove a propshaft, otherwise you'll melt the CDL.

Dunno about a 4wd dyno.

The 2wd way is probably more 'comparable' with other vehicles and takes a lot of moving parts (loss) out of the equation.

Might be easier to put a custard nearby and attach a string to the skin and a tyre and see who wins.

I'd be putting money on the custard..

Not a RRC but a 101 - same basic engine but on carbs, same gearbox and drive train as early RRC, but lower ratio diffs and bigger wheels - on a 4wd dyno - 53kw at 5000rpm

Dyno shop melted the CDL - then shattered it.
Cost them a second hand LT230 and fitting
SO can confirm your prediction.

So if I have a 3.5 running a lt230 plus 4.1 diffs getting 89.5 kw and 120hp at 5000 rpm then not doing to bad?

Say 80% better than std?

See dyno print out below - before tune up and new injectors vs after fuel map tune and new injectors.

Love to hear how you interpret these results vs std - does this mean about 80% better than std engine?

I think that is pretty good for a 3.5. My 3.9 V8 disco made exactly 100 kw at the wheels when I had it and it went quite well.
