Thread: Chassis number for 1988 RRC

I need to find a chassis number on my 1988 RRC. I have the VIN number but to do a check I need the chassis number as it is pre 1989. Where can I find this number on the vehicle? As far as I was aware they only have the VIN number but I may be wrong.

Should be forward of the right hand shock tower on the chassis in behind the front wheel..

You will need to give the area a proper clean to find it as they aren't very noticeable. It will be stamped and sometimes the area is a blue colour.
