    INTERIOR PAINT COLOUR

    Can anyone tell me the paint colour or code for the tan colour used on the seat mounts and stuff inside an '81 RRC Two door? I think the exterior colour is " Sahara Gold " ?

    The tan colour vinyl paint from Supercheap is pretty close.

    Or if you take a non faded part to a paint shop and get them to colour match it and make up a spray can for you. I did this with an older car I had with a blue interior and it came out with a perfect match and looked great.

    Palamino

    The interior rear seat metal back,seat bases as well as rear upper quarter vent panels are a colour called palamino.
    My paint guy found a colour reference after some trawling.
    From memory it’s still in an old British database under Land Rover somewhere,
    and there were two tones listed .one more yellow than the other.

    The one he used looked a little dark and muddy but hard to compare to faded 30 year old two door paint so I would suggest start at that base colour and fettle it to match.
    Personally,I like that lighter tone the panels take on with some age.
