    1989 4 Door -

Hi All - New Member here in Perth.
I just picked up this beauty - Only 167K. Drives great and Very much looking forward to giving her some TLC.
I have a question for any experts out there. The wheels and flares look like they have been on the car for a long time. Is there a chance they were "factory" or "dealership". I am wondering if I should keep them or change to the 3 spoke alloys? As the car is unmodified in any way I am wanting to keep everything as original as I can.

    Cheers.

Hi Gavin. Thanks for the reply. I am in Daglish/Subiaco. I think I have managed a photo - still trying to get my head around this site!

Not original, but probably the best mudguard extensions I've ever seen. Unless you have a fetish, I' suggest you live with what you have for up to a year, then decide what you want - bit like house renos. I quite like those chevron type mags, but there are plenty of alternatives around if you are looking. I'm assuming no suspension lift etc, but?

Just enjoy for a while, then decide!!!!

Hi The Rims you have are 15 inch and are made by performance...I have them on mine and they have a great offset when you have those fibreglass flares on..also like mine. With 15 x 10.5 tyres they sit well and give the Rangie a great stance.
I have had Cheviot 15 inch rims, Discovery steel Rims, Discovery alloy Rims, on my 89 vogue , I prefer the Performance Rims for looks just like yours....but it’s just personal...I saw that Rangie you have on gumtree and Facebook market place but thought a bit overpriced, but they are going up in Value...I will never part with mine..good luck with it as it looks like a good one🙂🙂🙂

Thanks for the input guys - I will refurb the wheels and keep as is. There hasn't been any suspension mods (or any mods at all) that I can see. I also have a 2 door 82 which is a non-runner and needs a lot of work - rust etc. When I look at how much that is going to cost this peach looked like a bargain!

    Cheers!
