Including rubber shock bushes on compression and poly on rebound.

I can't find the link any more, but a Mazda 323 front strut can be used as a Boge replacement. One ball end is a direct match AFAIR.

You'd have a bit of fun with that.

A really simple fix to fit your RRC inside your garage is to put heavy stuff on it or request people to ride when you are about to park, that would lower it a bit and give you some clearance, though I do understand it would be a hustle but it all depends on you though, goodluck on that!

Why not try TRS Adelaide who are Land Rover wreckers . They may have some stock springs.

I have those FF springs in mine lower by 1" for all reasons you quote. And front anti roll bar. It rides well got Bilstein B6 shocks. Its a nice driving ROAD car. Had Dobsons in before that were supposed to be standard height but in fact were 2" taller than stock. Softer/nicer ride but to tall. Truck drives well flat on corners etc. Does it have plush ride on really rough stuff? No but its not going there

Meccles, do you know how much bump stop clearance you have front and rear with the 1” lowered FF springs.
Also, are you still using the self leveling strut in the rear suspension. The reason I ask is, if the suspension is lowered, the struts will “think” you have a load in the back and it will endeavour to raise the rear back up to normal operating height, negating the effect of lowered suspension.

I’d call Les Richmond Autos - they understand Rangies very well in all areas and particularly springs - they have a huge range and would give you good advice on how to get the ride height you’re after and maintain the comfort.

    Coil Springs
Go back to standard or a tad lower.... the Classic is NOT a road - racer, you're wasting your time and money and life... trying to make it one.

If you MUST have sway bars, keep them light...

Put a stronger return spring on the accelerator.

In my mis-spent youth, I put strong GAS dampers on a CM Valiant. (Factory direct, when I was in SA, years ago... )
    - DID IT HOLD THE ROAD - at 160km/h + .... a 6 cyl / 245"..... Go-cart,. ANd same level of discomfort as,,,,

Got back to WA, and chucked them. Impossible around town,. Lesson learned

Put a stronger return spring on the accelerator.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to make a road racer out of it.
i just want it to sit a little lower and roll less.
I had a 1975 model in the early 80’s with an anti roll bar on the front, but it still rolled disconcertingly (according to my wife) but it drove very nicely.
I did eventually fit a P76 V8 that I rebuilt and coupled with the LT95 with 0.996 transfer case ratio was a tremendous on road and off road machine.
It is the fond memories of that car that drove me to buy another one
Ah nostalgia, it ain’t what it used to be

    The car's not for you.

Go and find something else that fits in the garage, OR leave it outside.
Roads?.. Where we're going, we don't need roads...
