The real question is whether RK ends up with 30mm front and what the rear ends up being.

The rule of thumb used to be that 1 degree of caster was lost for each 1/2" of lift. They only had 3 degrees stock (from a good day at the factory). 2" lift gives you negative 1/2 a degree, 30mm would leave you with not much positive.

Made a massive difference to mine when the balls were slotted.

Have a County front diff in it now, same springs, not slotted, but with the correction bushes in the arms the new diff came with and it's just crap as far as vibration goes.

Never had that problem before and now have all the parts to slot the balls and rebuild the hubs.

Also have a set of SP non correction bushes to go in after, so the snout of the diff points towards the flange on the Tcase instead of the ground.

Everyone has a different experience with this, it's just a heads up for RK.

Surely there must be tons of Range Rovers out there with bullbars and LPG tanks for which people have bought an off the shelf kit for their Range Rover with a 20-30mm lift. Would like to hear which kits and how successful they were.

I contacted King Springs again, they said the springs should work but I may loose 10-15mm off the ride height due to the weight of the bullbar and LPG tanks. I figure that the current standard springs would also have lost a similar amount of lift, so a set of the Kings would bring the car up 15-20mm from where it is now which would probably be a gross lift of around 15mm from stock, I would be happy with that.

Just out of interest, do you know what the bump stop clearance is to the pads on the diffs?

Does it still have the Boge unit on the A frame at the back?

The Range Rover still has the Boge unit, I replaced the ball joints on each end of it recently. I am unsure what the bump stop clearance is to the pads on the diffs.

I can't remember what the exact stock bump stop clearance is on a RRC, but it's about 50mm.

If you have something like that with the weight of your extras F&R then your current springs may not be stock.

Have just seen Repco has a one day sale on today. This brings the cost of the King Springs down to $300 for all four, cheapest I have seen anywhere else is around $365. For that price I will purchase them and see how I go.
