    Replacement MAF

    Has anyone tried the cheap eBay efi Hotwire MAF’s , are they reliable or do they work OK?

    Hi, I've tried them.

    In my experience they 'sort of work' but gave me an overly rich mixture.

    Would recommend a good working 2nd hand 3AM / 5AM if you can find one.

    not sure how much you would like to pay.
    after restricted performance warning, i bought two recently for the D4 from LR Direct.
    $240 delivered for the two.
    Made by VDO Continental. 12 months warranty.
    much more economical than local supply.
    car runs nicely.
