			BATTERY LOW CHARGE WARNING?

Can anyone tell me if there is a battery low charge warning alarm in my 1986 RRC that comes on when voltage reaches somewhere between eleven and ten volts?
I have just recently become aware of it.
This has never happen before only over the last month or so, in-spite of me running the battery down on previous other occasions.
It also goes off when the ignition key is out of the switch.
The alarm is of very high frequency and very annoying.
Regards:-
Patrick M

					I don’t think so.
My 81 and 91 did not have such a warning, only a red light on the dash to tell you that the crap Lucas or Magneto marelli alternator had died.
Maybe an aftermarket alarm that self activated when the voltage is low?

					Thanks Phil.
Yes that's what I thought.
Anyway I found the problem I have a 240ACVolt -12DCVolt converter behind the cubby box between the two front seats, it was switched on of course and draining the battery to the point where it would set of it's low level input alarm.
You learn something new every day mate.
Thanks again Phil
