    BODY MOUNTS

    Hi,
    I have started replacing the body mounts on my 1986 and while underneath the car I noticed that there are another set of mounting brackets which I would deem to be secondary items and very limited in effectiveness if needed to hold the body to the chassis.
    Can anybody throw some light on why they are there and how they are supposed to be set up and adjusted to comply with the way they were originally installed please?
