LT95 Hi/Lo select lever roll pin

    G’day Folks,
Hi/Lo selector is sloppy and much of it seems due to the connection to the shaft into the transfer case.
The roll pin is likely to be a major contributor. I improved it somewhat by driving a small nail into the roll pin but this also pushed the pin down a few mm. I figure I could tap a new roll pin into place.
Can’t find anyone in Oz with them in stock.
Does anyone know a size? They are a common engineering component and I should be able to match it locally.
    Cheers
    Graeme

Thanks Ron. That is pn 571158, the book shows pn 576779. I ordered some from BAP for thus number but they are out of stock.
The description is compelling though, cheap so might get a few just on spec.

Give them a call and ask for Brad. He rebuilds the LT95.

Alternatively, try PMing Bearman (Brian) on this forum. Brian also rebuilds the LT95.

Graeme, that roll pin 576779 is now superceded by number PA112301. Don't bother trying to order one online, just go to a bearing shop and ask for a 30 x 6.35mm roll pin.

Got a new roll pin, 40 x 6 mm instead of 30 x 6.35 (1/4”) but it works. Have no slop between the selector lever and the shaft into the transfer case. Also have positive H/L selection without the lever hitting the floor. Good result all round.
Old roll pin was badly worn snd distorted, plus bring a bit short.
Thanks to everyone for your advice snd help here.

Next will be the plastic spacer on the actuator shaft disintegrating inside the TC................leaves one with no ability to select out of what range you're in.

Bearman has the ultimate 5 min fix for this.
