Good day!
I have a 1993 Range Rover Classic (USA) LWB County with EAS.
There was a bad leak in the system, so I'm attempting to rehab the EAS.
I have replaced the one air spring I *know was a wreck.
I have rebuilt the valve block - had a couple issues with the diaphragm. Here is what is happening:
Started with system empty. Drained the air tank.
I put the valve block on the car, ran it.
Compressor pumps
Air exits the valve block at port #6 (which goes to the air tank)
After running car for 20 mins, I cracked open the air tank drain and air hissed out (methinks the compressor is inflating the tank!)
Ran the car for a total of 50 mins (hoping to fill up the tank)
The problem
The EAS never raises the car.
I'm assuming the tank is filling up.
I have the EAS Unlock cable coming in the mail in a few days.
Anything I can do to get this off the bump stops?
What would you do? I just quit drinking beer, so I can't just sit around and wait!

I'm certainly no expert, but I have just replaced the compressor on my D4. The system operates under fairly high pressure, so just an air hiss is probably not enough pressure. With the new compressor on mine when I first turned it on after having it completely empty, it returned to full pressure and lifted the car in a few minutes.
So I would be looking at a faulty compressor or another serious leak somewhere. If it has been running with a faulty airbag, I would think that the compressor is cooked.
Only option in that case is to replace with a new compressor or fit a filling port on each airbag and individually inflate like a tyre.
From the OP's original post it doesn't sound as if he has a lot of knowledge of how the system operates, and or hasn't done any research on here about it prior to trying to patch it up himself.
Probably why no one has responded. There is a heap of info on here about EAS in these vehicles. Doesn't matter which model, the principal is the same, the only difference between the various models are minor details.

G`day , if you are not aware an open door isolates the EAS , if you need and i can find , somewhere i have info about manual pin out checking as in small lengths of wire into disconnected EAS ECU plug , lets you raise/lower corners run compressor etc .

Not sure it is quite clear from Les' post but easy-ish to tee in a Schrader/tyre/tire valve to the airline of the airbag to inflate it.
Also be careful when manually applying power to the pins as in PLR's post, don't hold the power on too long as if it is anything like a P38 or D3/4 it works in pulses, and I think I burnt out a valve block doing that when I had EAS trouble on my D3 or LR-3 as you know them in the US.

Well, I do now! I ended up rebuilding my valve block, pump, and replacing airbags. Works now!
