    Accessory Belt Routing

    Hi guys,

My super rad '84 Two Door finally made it off the boat and through customs so I'm working on deferred maintenance. I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this if it was a Aussie Market/CKD difference with the belts and routing.
Mine has a twin carbed V8 (14D01912A) it appears to be the right year and it looks like all of the accessories are correct. The Alternator is mounted high on the RH side and is driven off the same belt as the waterpump/fan. The Power Steering is high on the LH side and driven on the same belt as the AC compressor mounted low on the LH side. From the parts manuals it is hard to tell what belt routing should be so I want to make sure it's correct before ordering belts. Per the parts manual and a couple websites it looks like I should have 613602 for the Fan/Waterpump/Alt and 614670 for the PS/AC side.

The belts are Dayco 10A1237C (weirdly only shows up from Australian vendors) for the fan and alternator and Dayco 13A1130 (which does show up in the US) for the AC compressor and PS.

Does this seem vaguely correct or was there some monkeying around that I should address?

    Thanks!

The description of the routing of your belts is exactly the same as my 82 2 door, which also has a 14D..... engine.
You could take the belts off and take them to Repco or similar and they will supply the same size belt.

Thank you for the confirmation, I figured out the issue with the Dayco part numbers was that their website will say a part number is invalid if it isn't sold in that region. Switching to the Australia/Asia site and the Europe site I was able to make sure those part numbers existed and then find some closer approximations sold in the US. They should be showing up today so I can verify what works.
