Thread: 12v to coil

hi my 84 RRC has electronic egnition but is hard to start in the morings however runs good when warmed up, some people have told me that runing 12v from the battry through a relay to the coil would sort it out due to the coil needing 12v, would appreciate any feed back or info on this.

How much is the coil getting now vs what it is supposed to get??

It's usually stamped on the bottom of the coil.
