    Wanted - indicator/high beam switch

Anyone got a spare indicator/high beam switch? Mine has melted the plastic bit where the low beam/high beam bit is. To suit an 85 RRC.

Also, does anyone know where and how much are 4:11 ratios to suit?

    Cheers

Ashcroft or Great Basin Rovers, about $1000 landed for both. Or there is a set on ebay. Interesting to see what they go for.

I presume you know to fit a relay for the headlights to prevent future failure of the switch (once you replace it).

I had a switch fail on me in the worst possible conditions - could have been very nasty. Convinced me to never risk that again.

I had a similar experience with my 1984 RR. Used a double pole relay to switch the lights to high beam as at the time a switch was a costly replacement. Let me know how your switch is behaving, what it does, and I am sure I can give you a quick circuit to incorporate the double pole relay.

Thanks for the replies people, I will look at getting some relays to bang in. Now to find a switch, Rovercare, you got my PM dude?

As for the 4:11's I think that wont happen as yet. Gotta sort out (read spend) other stuff first, like the suspension lift which will effect, shocks, brake lines, swivels to be machined and other stuff no doubt.
