    dash vents

I have a 1984 rangie with the circular dash vents they were corroded alot by the sun so i pulled them out, woops shouldnt have done that now it looks like i have to pull the whole dash of just to fit them back in properly see they clip in and are also rivetted in, ive tried several ways to get the vents in but they just flop around. anyone got an easier way.thanks from leyland

i would not bother for that, just put black silicon or sikaflex around the rim and push them in, 24hrs later they wont squeek or rattle again + you can remove them if needed.
