You will need to upgrade the diffs and axles to run 35's.

The 2 pinion carrier in the diff is the weakest part, closely followed by the 10 spline axles. Lockers will cure the 2 pinion carrier, then if you fit aftermarket axles the cv's and crown wheel and pinion become the weak link.

If you really want to run 35 in high traction rocks with lockers, then you are better off swapping Nissan Landcruiser axles in instead of blowing dosh upgrading the rangie stuff.

The stock 3.54:1 final drive gearing will suck with the 3.5 carbie engine.

You will need to fit flares and trim the guards (easier with 2 door than 4 door rangies.

You won't notice any benefit from that exhaust work.

    I'd suggest...

    4.11's
    Narrow(er) 35's eg... 280/85 16
    Uprated axles...
Locker of some sort... (ARB/JacMac/Detroit) front and rear
    Uprated CVs

And exercise some sensibility on the loud pedal....

And a 3" lift is not really necessary. A 2" spring lift with 2" body lift is all you need. (and cut the guards)

Also the "off-the-shelf" lift like Dobinson will probably have very heavy springs. Better off with some custom made springs to get the lift but still keep them light.

Pretty much that, except I;d be happy to run the early rangie CV's

2" Spring, 2" body a guard trim will do it. If you not got the dosh 5k ish to beef up rover diffs as said. Use 4.11 Pootrol front and Toymota 80 series rear are not bad as have correct offset and very good brakes. Just keep in mind unsprung weight and diff hight of Nissota conversoin
