Thread: RRC lost drive???

ok bit of an update. i've been driving around brisbane for a while today, and it hasn't repeated its hissy fit. It does seem pretty sluggish though. If you put your foot down from a standing start, it seems like its really working to get a bit of speed up. Before it just seemed to 'get on and get going' more. Is this my lockup not working? I realise this sounds increadibly vague. I'm just new to this car, plus new to having an auto so apologies for all this.
The auto fluid seems new, nice and red, with no burnt smell or bits foating about so far as I can see.
My most recent thoughts incude the wrong fluid being used (highly unlikely bearing in mind who I bought the car from), and the fact the sunroof absolutly ****ed water in when I washed it the day before I left. I don't remember having to dry around the t-bar, but who knows? Would geting a litle bit damp effect it?

Had similar happen to me, rolling towards a red light about 10-20 KPH, the light changed to green put my foot down and the car accelerated a little then the engine revved but nothing other than the remaining momentum. It had reverse for a couple of metres but needed low range to climb onto the tilt tray.

Reco'd auto box and all is O.K. again
