    Rangie wheels

looking at a 85 RR this weekend and was wondering what other later model(RR) wheel/tyre combo's will fit. I do not intend going off road as the classic will be mainly used to tow a car trailer on the black top

    tks paul

    Geez. Lots of options.
Wheels: Any of the Land Rover 16 " wheels off the Defender/Disco1/RRC. Lots of after market options too. (Disco2/P38a RR and newer no good)

Tyres: Likewise huge choice for HT type.

I quite liked these. Keep your eye on fleabay as lots come and go.

Also series rims .Some need adjustment to get over the drive member. If fitting larger tyres neg off set comes into the rim options.

Standard tyre height is 29 inches // after that you will need to adjust or cut the guards

the 85 RRC I am going to look at tomorrow already has aftermarket (black rubbery) flairs over cut arches. I have not seen the gaurds up close yet, so I do not know how much cutting was done

The PCD on your 85RR is different from the P38 and the Disco 2
