    How big job is to......?

....remove the electronics box under the drivers seat on a Hiline 88 model 3.5 FI and place it in a safe place for water crossing?
Any idea how much time can take an auto electrician to do the job?
I guess that here at Bundy can take quite a bit of time because not body do RR
    Cheers

    G'day Arthur,

It is a job you could do easily. The wiring harness is quite long, and together with the relays etc you can reposition it under the steering column if you want, but be prepared to move a few bunches of wires and relay brackets etc to make it fit, it is quite large.

Hello Justin, it is nice to hearing from you.
Thank you for your inputs, I will look into to see how much room is there (and how much I have to flex my used by date back )
Would it possible to fit it under the box on the console even if I have to modifying it or is a silly idea?
    Cheers

Under console is fine Arthur, but I am not sure it is QUITE long enough, but might be wrong. I would avoid cutting and rejoining if at all possible.
BTW, time to fit a Detroit locker to the rear of yours now, and move the truetrack to the front...Mine is working a treat!!

I will have a look how long is the loom. I do not like to cut the wires either.
Why a Detroit at the back? just trutracks front and back should be ok.
We have to wait for the OZ$ to come up again, they will cost a fortune now to import them
I have been very lazy lately, I still have to do something with my trailer. I am looking for a short cut regarding work and thinking in building a roof rack of the top of the fiberglass canopy of the trailer and fit a roof tent on it.
It would be a off road trailer with more than a ton capacity under roof plus the tent on the top
    Cheers
