    ABS/ETC bits? Whos got'em?

    Hi Guys,
Im chasing some ABS/ETC spare/bits for my 93rrc, I would like to install ETC on the car so im primarily chasing an ETC valve and associated brake pipes.

Anybody out there got any bits or know where there are some?

    cheers

WOW that sounds like a big job. I presume the car already has ABS? You'd have to install all the wheel sensors and wiring loom, plus all the brake lines as you've noted.

    Hi Mate,
Car has ABS. The wiring for the etc is already installed as is the software in the ecu. I just need the mechanicals. As you may be aware th ETC valve is and add on the attaches to the ABS valve.

I dont think a retro fit is going to be difficult as long as i get all the bits

Cool. Make sure to let us know how it goes.

I've often thought the car maker practice of charging $1k for DSC on a car when most (excluding g and steering) of the sensors are already there was a bit rich.

    abs etc

    lucas,
I have just purchased a booster block which has the etc valve block attached.
I am going to install it in my truck. Unfortunately it does not have the pipes going to it and I have looked everywhere in manual ( work of fiction) and also the Rave (nearly as good) and there is no mention of where the pipes connect to.
If you do get an etc valve block make sure you get all the pipes (although they are not that hard to fabricate) and also make sure you know the connections. The etc valve block goes between the pcrv and the booster block and also connects to the accumulator/pump. It has connections 13, 28 and 14 marked on it, but I have no idea which connection goes where. Would appreciate a pic or other info if anyone has it.
It might be easier to find these parts os as very few late model classics had etc installed as standard (an option) and the ones that do would still be used (unless a wreck). More common US and UK. Try a co called ClassicLSE, they sell on ebay and often have parts. They only deal in North American and European Classic Lse's which all had etc as standard.
    Hope this helps.

    Regs........Mike
