    LSE Dimensions

    Hi guys,

    Can anyone tell me or point me to somewhere that'll have this info - I'm wanting to know the dimensions of the LSE wagon area. And if possible the "Short" wheelbase dimensions too. I've had a look on various websites and can't find any info.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I can't help with exact dimensions but I do know they have the identical load area with the rear seats in use.

    All the extra length is in the rear side door area (between front & rear seats).

    The wagon/load space area is the same as the SE, the extra 7" is between the rear of the front seats and the rear seats.

    I haven't got any measurements on hand, but I'll take a look around later on and post them up if you like.

    Thanks guys. JC if you could, that would be great. What I'm really wanting to know is the full length from tailgate to the rear of the front seats, but width and height dimensions would also be great!

    LSE Dimensions. [-taken from my owners manual]
    Length = 4.680M.
    Height = 1.792M
    Width = 1.818M
    Wheelbase = 2.74M
    Turning Circle = 13.64M
    Max Cargo height = 1.028M.

    Due to the car being fitted with adjustable air suspension the vehicle height will vary depending on what height setting is selected.

    Tailgate to rear of front seats - will vary depending as to what position the front seats are adjusted to.

    Hope this helps Hoadie72

    Cool, that's a good start, I imagine thought that the length and height are exterior and not interior lol.

    Do you think that seats folded and front seats all the way back the wagon area would be 2m long?

    Hmm it would come close to 185 cm anyway but may be longer.

    It won't be flat ! (That trick didnt arrive til the D3 ! )

    I miss my LSE.
    It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    I just measured Hoadie72.

    1930 mm from the back window to the back of the drivers seat and I sit fairly close to the steering wheel. Didn't eat all my Weeties as a kid.

    Don't forget that the back window slopes inwards and the front seats lean back so it's not a square box which can be fully utilised. A RR Classic is just a giant hatch back.

    And yes - exterior measurements.

    What are you planning on doing inside a RR LSE? Or shouldn't I ask.

    And Vledtapes - I too could miss my LSE if it was a P38.

    Well, I'm wondering if long stuff like an Oztent would fit, which it should either diagonally across or by utilising the sloping window as you say. I want to avoid using roofracks if at all possible. I'm thinking that with the extra 7", the LSE should suit my requirements. Thanks heaps everyone!

    Oh and BTW, I DID eat my Weeties as a kid and I'm 6'3 lol
