    3.9 Litre Engine 1991 - 93

    Hi Guys,
I am looking to buy a reasonable 3.9 litre engine that I can rebuild without reboring the cylinders.
A good engine that I can simply fit new rings and bearings, camshaft & Lifters, Rockers and water pump.
So far all I have found is engines that have either been re bored, need to be re bored and have done far to many Kms to be of any value.
My vehicle is a 90/91 Classic that is in quite good condition but it has done over 350,000 Kms yet is in very good overall condition, really worth doing it up.
So, if you have an engine or know of one that would suit my needs, I am ready to buy...
    Cheers,

Is your current engine too far gone to rebuild. Check that the liners don't have movement. Mine did and they were about the same age but less kms.

    Hi Guy,
Nah, the old girl is running like a top, absolutely perfect but I figure that is the best time to rebuild a spare engine so that I can just swap it over when completed.
I have spent a lot on this old engine over the 2 years I have had it and I really don't want to waste any more cash on it when the money could go into a full rebuild.
I love the Classics, they just still have the true rangie feel about them when on a drive in the bush.
