Wayneg ... Remember to buy some Diff 90w Oil ... To refill up the CV ... Check the other side while your at it

Also a oil hand pump that screws onto the oil bottle is a "must have" handy tool for this job

3 oil plugs on the front side of the swivel housing
Top one for fill ... 13mm square
Bottom one for draining ... 4mm? Square
Middle one for oil level ... 10mm? Hex

Buy a used CV ... Cause a price on a new one, will blow you away

Having just purchased the RR with a click click click when turning hard, a few years back I put in a second hand CV from the wreckers in the 1984 that I am trying to sell, and had no trouble with the second hand CV. They will normally last for many years, are are not that hard to do if you can use a spanner. Replaced my leaking swivel hub seals at the same time, so see if yours leak.

If it's got ABS - Most likely it's a TD5, in which case there is most likely no level or drain plugs in the swivel housing. These are designed to have a squirt of one shot grease once in their lifetime, and that's it. Stupid idea really.

When you strip yours down then let us know if there is any grease in there at all? Mine had 166,000ks on it and the housing looked like it had no or little grease since new. Not sure how it survived so long. But it was well knackered. Mine now has oil in it, and a carefully bent wire dip stick to check levels.
