Changing the dash in a RRC
What involved with converting the early dash (the one with the radio near the door) to the later model (radio in the centre) 89 onwards i think

AFAIK the dash tops are the same. The differences are in the bottom cover on the drivers side, and the vent is just a cover for the radio Hole.LOL.
Of course you would have to run a ****y little vent across which gives no air anyway to equal the factory effort.
The radio in the later ones is in a supplementary panel which is part of the centre console.
The other main difference is the instrument nacelle but that is also bolted on to the top off the dash.
