81 = 2 door and good examples are getting hard to find...its only worth what someone is willing to pay tho

If its very very good, then 5 to 6k is reasonable in my books

Dual fuel makes it worth a bit more, as does the manual, but that is still one very expensive price tag.

Even with a whole bunch of extras I'd be thinking in the $3-$4K range.

if you paid $6500 and if you can get say 4 or 5 years without spending a cent on the mechanics of the rr and you sell it after 4 years how much would you loose as opposed to, if you bought a new rr and you sold it after 4 years how much would you loose ? so would it be worth buying

As far as the motor trade is concerned it is the year model first that determines value and condition and accessories second and third. In the eyes of a dealer this is a near worthless 28 year old car that is worth whatever fat he has in his asking price to load a trade-in. Pretty well any dealer who would accept this as a trade-in would send it off to auction for whatever it would fetch.

Do you know how many k's its got. like everyone else it would have to be inmac condition for that sort of price.

I think $5000 for a really good 2 door is reasonable, $6500 it would have to be mint for an 81 model. But the question is do you really want an 81 two door? If I had $5-6500 to spend on a rangie for everyday use I would look for a later model.
