I checked my second battery area etc etc and concluded that the problem was that the LR tank had rubbed through the loom, which runs over the top of the tank.
So today I isolated the wire by cutting it in the loom before the tank and ran a new wire from the tailgate into the load area and across to the loom in the corner behind the spare (red /black). In the Coral Bay caravan park!
It now seems to be OK.
Probably only happens if you use the car on many rough roads , but something to consider. if you think I am going to drop the tank to fix it you are nuts!
