Have a look here: Les Richmond Automotive

Their website uses frames or something, so you'll have to navigate via "Vehicle Accessories", then "Range Rover Classic" then "Replacement Coil Springs"

    Hi,

My RRC came with a 'Pedders heavy duty high lift kit (2")' when I bought it about a decade ago. The springs even had a little bit of red paint left on them.

I've tried other springs, including some LRA ones that came with a spare RRC I bought, but have stuck these Pedders springs back in because they are the only ones I've used that carry weight on a trip properly and have not appreciably sagged in 400,000 k's.

Obviously Pedders don't make them, but I would recommend springs from whoever did. Ring Pedders maybe.

    cheers, DL

Try Dobinsons springs and shocks. Very happy with them on a Landcruiser, RRC, Disco 1 and another RRC. Bob

IME the last set of Kings springs I fitted to a D1 2 years ago have sagged 25mm already They are progressive rate KRRR05HD, the heaviest for a D1 rear. Not impressed. Conversely, all the LRA springs I have fitted and the ones on my RRC (Which have been in for 7 years now with a 4BD1 over the top of them) have been faultless

Yep, the shocks were as you described. The Pedders springs in mine would have been installed in 1990 or 91, so maybe someone other than Kings was making them then.

I'm happy with them anyway. Can be a can of worms to get a set up that's right for your vehicle.......... then they sag.

    cheers, DL
