Hey Mule, I get the feeling you need some bigger tyres......My ol'e girl was very comfy on the hwy with its std gearing and 285/85/16's (i think thats what they are, A little bigger than your average 33" in diam but not so wide) Just insufficient nuts from its tired 3.5 to drag the heavier gearing load. Your 308 will have plenty of torque to keep it rolling. Bring on the long legs!!

And yes I will let you know how the almost finished '08 T700 combo handles the open road, god knows theres plenty of it in this damn fine country to explore.

Who me?? Almost enough to venture out in the shed and crack a cold blonde or two while throwin a spanner at the big white elephant keeping the eK out in the rain, getting a bit tired of this whikky anyway.

And I'll trust your on the money....
