    thermo fans stuck on

    my thermo fans are stuck on i pressure cleaned the motor and now the fans stay on do i just keep driving and let sort it self out or what can i check to fix thanks luke..93 range rover

    Check the thermo fan switch on the side of the thermostat housing. Pull the wires off ( and insulate them) and the fans should stop. If you filled the switch with water it may be buggered. Regards Philip A

    mate thanks for the help it is fixed just gave it a hit with contact cleaner and fixed it cheers luke..

    remove thermo fan and replace with viscous coupled fan, no more problems with water.

    Methinks he is talking about his condenser fans. They also act as overheat fans switched at 100C.

    He is lucky they still work. Both mine died.

    yes philip thats what i ment and both work great
