Give me a call tomorrow John.

The DB9 female plug isn't an issue and neither is the 2N3904 NPN TTS.

The other plug is a little bit of an oddity and you may need to get one from a wrecker or somewhere or just make up 4 pins that can be plugged in to the harness of the Rangie.

i had a supplier for the lucas tt5 plug but i cannot find them again....

The db9, cable, resistor and trans where all from Jaycar. The whole cable cost aprox $15 to make.

If you can find a wrecked classic with electric mirrors, the 5-pin lucas plug is the same as the electric mirror connector. I had 2 but gave one away.
The EASUnlock website has a link to another site who supplies overhaul kits etc, can't recall the name. This second site is a goldmine of info about the workings of the EAS. There is a description of how to bridge the pins at the ECU connector to check whether all the valves are working, this would be worth checking.
I made a manual controller that I carry in the toolkit, cost a fraction of the Kicker.

EASUnlock is OK but if you have a fault, you need to have your laptop in the car if you are in the middle of nowhere to be able to run it, plus it's notoriously unreliable.

The new upgraded version of the EAS Kicker can now also do height adjustment too.
Had a varied experience with EASUnlock enough to make me now place an order for the Kicker.
And with the way the dollar is at the moment, best time to buy.

Unlock has its benefits, but the reliability just isnt there.

    Cheers

    Andrew.
