    94 Soft Dash Salvage value

    Hi there,
    Sadly my 94 soft dash is an insurance write off. Someone pulled out in front me and l basically t-boned it.
    Anyway, the insurance co. is offering about 1.5k for salvage. The damage is bonnet, driver side front guard, bumper, grill, skirt and lights on the drivers side. She is still drivable and everything else works......thats right, everything!

    l don't really have the time to part it out.

    Does 1.5K sound fair?

    Sadly, insurance companies are not about fair. You could let them have their $1500 and sell the wreck yourself or even get it repaired (probably cost more $ than it's worth- which is of course where the insurers are at). Having a 94 soft dash myself, I'd be very tempted to take it off your hands myself for a shade over the 1.5k but unfortunately, due to an injury, finances are tight at present and I probably couldn't justify it. Would not be hard to get more for the wreck though I would think.
    Very sad to hear of one of these carking it, but more importantly hope you and the other driver are ok.
