    RRC 92 Sherwood.

My Wifes car is a 92 Sherwood, with the wood veneer, leather seats etc.
Interested to know how many Sherwoods came to Australia.

The Sherwood was a very nice model & looked great with the dark green paint & chrome bumpers.

I'm not sure exactly how many came out here but there weren't many. I think maybe around 5 went through here.

Have you had yours since new? If so, did you have the painting that came with the car?

I have a 1992 Sherwood too, but it is now more 110 than RRC.... The original owner lives locally , is a customer of mine and owns a Td5 110. He has the painting hanging in his hallway.

I bought it off the second owner, has G force active suspension, HAD a JD 4.7 motor etc etc when I got it. Now has a intercooled 4BD1T, 3" body lift, 2" suspension, 33's, TR LT95, Defender diffs with Detroit locker rear and Maxi axles, longrange tank, but still has that loverly timber and leather interior. Now travelled 375K, but is a bit like grandads axe
It'll be passed down to one of my daughters when I get too decrepid to drive it, or I'll be buried in it

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Sorry to jump in after this thread has stood still for some time but there was one in Perth about 7 or 8 years ago, I considered buying it but it was starting to look a bit shabby and the guy wanted a bit too many $$$$ at the time.

Dontbe sorry. I meant to post some pics. Thinking of putting a 200tdi in it but really it is too original to mutilate. Just clocked 200K but its the rego and mpg are killing us.

Gas will half the running cost.
A diesel conversion will cost you $10k easily!

Alternatively, sell it and and get a diesel Disco!

Dont think I can talk the other into selling ,though it may depend on what its worth.

Scott, the painting or print by Bob Marchant that came with the vehicle do you know how many were done and what they are worth these days? A friend of mine has one and says he was offered $500 for it but he declined. He reckons its worth more sentimentally.

There were 50 Sherwoods produced, although the attached isn't that clear to me whether they were produced in Australia. Attached is from Landrover Experience Magazine Issue 1 1992. I do know that back around that time, to stop "forgeries" you had to produce proof of ownership to buy the Badge Kit, 2 decals "SHERWOOD" & 2 "S's. But one was written off when very new.
