I just thought I'd mention that I met one of the neighbours and asked about their LSE. In fact, I towed it off the road where it had spluttered to a stop and back onto the verge. It's definitely well-used and original, but well-loved too. They know it's rare because the husband is a Range Rover nut and they've had it for a long time, driving all over the country in it. It's really good to see one of these things owned by somebody who likes it and isn't going to chop it to bits or run it into the ground.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
I bought a 1993 Vogue LSE (green) from Garthons (Hurstville) who delivered it to the original owner with a mighty colour-coded bullbar. I paid $53000 for it in 1995 and sold it in about 2000 when I think it went to Canberra. John Davis Motorworks upgraded the ECU to the specs for the 4.2l engine and replaced the shocks with adjustable Konis. It drove like a dream and I miss it. I also miss the RR autobiography I won in a Land Rover competition...............but they only gave it to me for a week.
Howdy - had no responses in my "What's it worth" thread, thinking maybe as it is a subscriber only thread so viewed by a smaller audience. Hoping if I put it in this thread someone can chime in.
RRC LSE Softdash
Thanks,
Brett.

I tried posting in your 'what's it worth' thread but it wouldn't let me post. It just kept sending my post to the mods for approval. . Let's see if I have any luck here
Out of curiosity I had a quick squizz at a couple of car valuation sites.

CARS GUIDE
You could expect to pay $6,600 – 9,350 based on third party pricing data.
I don't think these prices reflect the LSEs' scarcity or desirability if it is in good condition with a known history.
