Ah Thanks, yes I now remember someone else telling me that some time back, the sticker is actually illegible under the bonnett, so couldn't tell.
I forgot to mention I have also seen 2 additional grey ones in Hobart, and another plymouth blue softdash that was sold to the mainland 5 years ago by one of my customers. Also, I know of a fairly unusual coloured one with coded step bumper and ARB bar etc it is called 'Mosswood' I think and is an interesting colour. It is in a sorry state unfortunately, maybe I'll try and buy it to save it:(
JC
Yes. Mosswood is the colours name and yes again - it is very unusual. From what I can gather it was one of LRs most unpopular colours. But I think it is great. It is also the colour of my mates LSE.
It might be a good idea to buy that sorry state Mosswood one for the future JC. The one my mate drives I found for him and we went to look at it. He was undecided about buying it and he asked me what I thought. He made up his mind in a hurry when I replied if you don't buy it today I will tonight. And he's never regretted it.
Don't need too much prompting!:) I've always liked the vehicle, it was just such a 'lemon'. EVERYTHING that could fail, did. The owner finally got sick of spending $$$ on it and now just drives it. Regardless.
Its on LPG and I reckon he hasn't changed the oil in years. Takes about 15 to 20 seconds for the oil lamp to go out:o.
No EAS anymore, ABS/TC inoperative, Electric seats broken, Drivers door trim off, you get the picture:(
Still, has colour coded 5 spoke alloys too and te step bumper is set up for a twin wheel carrier:cool:
Might make him an offer and store it....
JC
Sounds just like what you need. A future unique project which no-one else in Oz can match...consider your self prompted.....lol

My Father in law has a 94 soft dash which is used as a run around for a business. My Sister in law did have a 93 square dash in black but was causing her too many problems so she sold it on.

I have an Feb 1994 Monpelier red LSE. Biult in Nov 1993 . I spend most of my time removing all the exspensive parts that go wrong.
So far I have replaced the engine with a Tdi 300, the transfer box with a Disco .Naturaly the airbag suspension has gone and the space underneath filled with fuel tanks. The ABS.was the next to fail, and that was replaced with early Disco mastercylender and booster. Recently the front seat memery computer failed,so that now works the same as the passenger side.I currently have two Maxidrives to fit and a winch cradle to fit behind my Arb bullbar I have one computer remaining and that Seems to be OK at presant.it
is for the safty airbags.
I love my car,It has all the luxury or a Rangie and the simplicity of a Land Rover. Last year it won the best four door rangie classic at Cooma.
In July I pick a new D4 so I am some what at a lost to know what to do with it.
We have 2 LSEs a 1993 hard dash in blue and a 1994 soft dash in white however from what i've read this 1994 would be a MY1995. :)
