1989 RRC ARB Bars
Hi All,
On my 89 RRC I have what I think to be an ARB rear step bar. It has a built in square receiver for the reece(?) type towball hitch. This towball bar and receiver are very long/deep, about twice as (long (hitch to pin hole) as the standard recovery hitch bar you see in stores.
Does anyone know where I can get a recover hitch this long off the shelf or will I need to fabricate one?
Cheers,
Neil

They're not available off the shelf any longer (ARB used to sell them) but there's a fabricated one selling on eBay for around $60. Some here have used it & like it.

Re: 1989 RRC ARB Bars
Cheers Scouse,
I've seen them on eBay from Hobzees store, they look shorter than mine.
I guess I'll measure it up and ask the question of the seller. Otherwise I'll get a local fabricator to make one. I guess the pin should be the weak link for rating purposes so testing the fabricated piece wouldn't be necessary.
