    perentie with defender single cab

just bought a perentie at the Sydney Graysonline auction, its a bit cold in Katoomba for a soft top.
Does the roll bar prevent a cab roof from fitting and I am also looking for that cab roof.

you'll have to harden up ! winter won't last much longer ....

A defender ute cab rear wall and roof (if you can get them ) should fit ok but I think you would have to at least trim/modify the roll bar mount at the front of the tub rail and you would obviously have to transfer the upper seat belt mount to the location on the side of the ute cab rear wall. Even A Ser2/3 rear wall may fit but I think you will need a 110 single cab roof panel to correctly fit the 110 windscreen frame.

By way of explanation what you will need is a rear wall similar to this series LR wall but NOT this roof

Not sure about the ROP, I do know someone with a NOS Defender roof but you'd need the rear wall or I can provide a SIII one. I also have a NOS Defender roof lining

    PM me if interested.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Perentie Single Cab

Is there a possibility of obtaining the 'hard-top' cab section from a 6x6 GS model and putting this onto a Perentie soft top?

I doubt it. The 6x6 Perenties are a wider cab. On a wider chassis I think. There would have to be a lot of modification and an engineers report to achieve this.

This one is currently on Gumtree:

It looks they have removed at least the front portion of the ROPS.

And the cab body is one piece. The roof and windscreen don't unbolt.
