I'm going camping so I hooked up the wood trailer.

I've never had the Crump and Cornish on the back of the Perentie before. I reckon it looks good. It is inspiring me to get stuck in to fixing the British Aerospace Australia 1 ton cargo trailer.
My Perentie has 6RAR Signals in it's service book and it seems all the maintenance/repairs over it's life were done at 6RAR TSP!
Can someone please enlighten where it has spent it's life?
Cheers, Mick.

The bent tabs on the front input bearing retainer is caused by whoever fitted the gearbox to the vehicle. Pulling the box in with the bellhousing bolts causes this. Solution is to line it up properly and fully seat it before tightening the bolts. In other word the spigot shaft was not lined up with the spigot bush in the crankshaft when the bolts were tightened. This pushes the spigot shaft rearwards and bends the tabs-they are only mild steel. The other shots of the centre diff shaft cross shafts show normal wear. Nothing too dramatic from what I can see - pretty cheap to rectify. What's the centre diff housing like, especially where the bevel gears (small ones)run?
